Why we use 10g samples in case of salmonella testing
Salmonella is weakest of all pathogens, but in favorable environment it is highly pathogenic than other. 10 g is worst case scenario. we have to prove it is absent in 10 g sample which is larger quantity used comparing to all other pathogen. USP requirement Refer chapter 62.
