Why we are using 6 Tablets for perform of Dissolution test?
As per my opinion we are using 6 tables as per usp requirements and we can get precision from 6 that why we are doing same.
Six units are tested to provide the minimal statistical significance and accuracy, precision
It’s statistically no more useful than 3. But has been handed down for decades. The USP probably can’t locate the original data.
