When Copying Documents - Good Documentation Practices

Hi there Everyone. I have a question about copying documents for an archive. When copying, we use a stamp that says it is a copy of the original, but is it within the Good Documentation Practices to allow for a stamp to be used for initials and date as well? I archive several binders worth of information frequently, and I’d like to be able to use a stamp instead of having to initial and date every page. Is this something that is allowed within good practices?
