What is the best syrup base for sugar free syrup in nutraceutical and herbal
I think Sorbitol 70% water based base should be considered for nutraceuticals and herbal preparations.
Other bases such as malt syrup, Invert syrup and liquid glucose are also available. However, those will have some amount of sugars such as Glucose, Fructose, Maltose, etc.
