In case of oily product before filter integrity test of hydrophobic capsule filter can be done by using water intrusion method. But how After filter integrity of that filter can be done?
- First of all perform water intrusion test of hydrophobic capsule.
- flush the filter with alcohol to remove traces of water.
- purge the filter with 0.22 micron filtered compressed air or nitrogen as per requirement.
- sterilize the filter,
- perform post integrity test of filter.
If my product contain oil base i can flush the filter with that oil base. but how can i do after filter integrity test? I mean is there any way to remove that oil from filter?
After integrity, flush the filter with some quantity of product and discard it and after that continue filling process.
