How to determine water content by KF for wax material(polyoxyl stearate 8). The material is like Greece how to weigh and transfer in to vessel?
Please dissolve the material (Polyoxyl stearate-8) in suitable solvent in which it is miscible (like dehydrated methanol or Ethyl alcohol) and tranfer the solution to KF apparatus for titration for determination of water content.
Please ensure that the solvent taken for dissolving Polyoxyl stearate must be free from water / moisture. Please select the solvent which is miscible with methanol because the KF regent contains methanol as a solvent.
