My query is rather hypothetical.
Most mineral salt manufacturers make reagent grade compounds and have no drug license.
Can we use such material in drug products. How do we justify the usage? Thanks
Without a valid Drug Mfg. license, you can not use “Reagent grade” chemicals (or any chemical compound) for pharmaceutical manufacturing purpose. This is because chemicals of Reagent grade are not manufactured to meet pharma applications and are not meant for human consumption/usage. Those are to be used for testing/analysis in the laboratory.
