can we perform swab sample by streaking method? if yes then please explain
Streaking is a technique used to isolate a pure strain from a single species of microorganism, often bacteria. So it depends upon the purpose. If you want to count the total aerobic microbial count, then surely streaking is not your method of choice. You should be using the pour plate method. But if you desire to isolate a bacterial species and to study it then you should be using streaking to isolate it from suspected colonies.
