There are data loggers with fixable rigid prop which used in this operation to control the height of the prop tip by stretch or shrink it when it was placed on the internal base of the tank to cover all levels you want to, otherwise you can create external matrix using ss bars and hang the logger on different levels then insert it as a whole into the tank
