Is it necessary to have a procedure for the usage of purified water

There may not be a separate SOP for the usage of purified water.
Generally, the usage of purified water is specified in the following documents,

  • Batch Manufacturing record
  • Analytical procedures of Raw materials, IPQC checks, Finished products etc. (Method of analysis)
  • General test procedures in QC laboratory (Chemical, Instrumental)

In the usage logbook, generation of purified water in the Purified Water system (day-wise) is logged in.
