When we taken sieves make 4 inches width and length. Count it the how many lines are there within the 4 inches that’s is the sieve number

Purpose means it’s used for particles size checking, according to the sieve size… It’s shows the particular particles size.example mesh number 20,30,40,80,100. When Increased the count decrease the particles size distribution

b4 granulation,materials req to be sieved if have lumps,flufy nature or to ensure the removal of foreign particles if any.
glidants and lubricants are sieved to increase surface area for better functioning.
After drying to facilitate die filling acc to tab wt.
