Why preservative treatment required of rubber stopper before use and what is a reason for treatment
Rubber stopper preservation is not necessary for all parenteral product but in some products like Lidocaine Inj. preservation is required because during the batch manufacturing of such products a preservative materials use for the manufacturing. if we use RS without preservation it may absorb the preservative of product solution and may degrade the product. To prevent this absorption we use preservative RS to increase the stability of product.
