If i found retention time of a molecules about 10 minutes from method validation data. During QC analysis with same column in other lab, how much change in retention is acceptable? .
Ideally speaking there should not be a significant change in the RT. However, there are variables such as column material, particle size, the number of theoretical plates in the column, column temperature, the quality of mobile phase, pH & its composition etc will cause variation in RT.
