My question is about the residual solvents testing by GC instrument. The question is, suppose there are three solvents in the specification- MDC, Methanol and Acetone. After the test injection only Acetone peak came and Methanol, MDC peak not observed. Then can we write BDL results for the Methanol and MDC.
As per my understanding, you will have to specify the detection limit in PPM according to the method validation in the raw data of Residual solvents.
In the final COA, for the residual solvents test, you can mention BDL if you find any solvent peak is not detected. (Below detection limit).
