What are the uses of pressure gauge on purified water storage tank.
As a part of the efficient control of contamination in the purified water storage tank, pressure-relief valves and bursting discs are provided on storage vessels to protect them from under- and over-pressurization, these devices should be of a sanitary design. Bursting discs should be provided with external rupture indicators to ensure that loss of system integrity is detected.
In such cases pressure guage on purified water storage tank might be necessary to determine pressure.

I have a doubt…As there is vent filter (0.3 micron) also exist on storage tank, then how the +ve pressure buildup in tank?
Considering small size of the vent filter and the total volume of storage tank it possible to have pressure build up.
