What.s risk if the distance betwen prepration and filling machine aseptic area very long?
I believe that some of the probable risks are:
1- More difficulty of cleaning and sterilization of long connecting pipes (hoses) and their validation.
2- Larger part of the pressure needed for sterilizing filtration before filling point is lost in the long connections (if the transferring pump used is in preparation room not in filling room).
3- There may be more points of connections whose integrity needs to be proven (in order to ensure maintaining sterility).
