What is difference between Alu/Alu and Alu/PVC blister pocket formation?

Alu/Alu- The pocket formation takes place by the plug assisted, also called as cold forming.

Alu/PVC: Pocket formation takes place either use of vacuum or compressed air.

yes you r right
Simply for Alu/Alu Teflon punches are used to form pocket by application of pressure.
in Alu/PVC compressed air is applied over preheated PVC which is then cooled by chilled water circulation
