Microbiology role in pharmaceutical industry

I want to ask microbiology lead in Pharma industry. Can a microbiologist become quality control manager or quality assurance manager?? What is regulatory requirements??

According to GMP you are required to have personnel that is properly trained for the tasks they perform.
If you have documented what tasks this person needs to perform and what training is required for these tasks then you can train a microbiologist to become a QC or QA manager. How long that would take would depend on this person’s past relevant experience (the more relevant experience the more suitable this person is for the job and the sooner he/she can be qualified for the tasks to be performed.)
I’m not familiar with any regulatory requirements regarding initial schooling of QC or QA managers.
