What kind of samples are you referring to?
There are two types of Incubator. One is B.O.D. Incubator and other one is Bacteriological Incubator. Both differ in controlled conditions like temperature and humidity and also in the working of Incubators.
So in Bacteriological Incubator you can set temperature up to 45 degrees, depends upon your requirements.
basically we are dealing with mesophilic organism in pharmaceutical ,which grow best at 20 to up to 45 so the optimum temperature for mesophilic organism is 30 to 35 that is why we incubate the plates /tubes at 30 to 35 except some strains of e.coli grow at 42 to 45 like the fecal strain or fecal contamination therefor we incubate MB at 42 to 45.
