In ICP-MS analysis blank conentration is more than sample concentration how the result is reported ?
I would recommend flushing the system through with 3% HNO3 for a few hours and monitoring the washout curve - this will show you if anything is flushing out of the system . You will need to give an adequate washout time between samples as well to make sure you eliminate any residual before your next sample. Have you ruled out your reagents as the cause of high blanks i.e. have you done reagent blanks?
Thanks & regards,
