What the formula calculation of unknown impurities in related substance in analysis and their limits
Generally for any unknown impurities the calculation of its % is based on the RRT values and with respect to the main peak of the analyte (by HPLC analysis). For example, in case of Clonazepam tablets, the impurities/degradant peak at RRT 0.75 is calculated based on the principal peak of Clonazepam. OR any unknown peak if detected is calculated based on the principal peak of Clonazepam.
