A person ask me about hot point and cold point in manufacturing area. I didn’t know clearly about that please help me out

The hot point, or hot spot, is the maximum temperature measured during temperature mapping of the room. Cold spot, or cold point is the lowest temperature measured. Both locations might be selected as location for permanent monitoring probe, depending on criticality.

In any qualified area of manufacturing ,one hot point or hot spot is marked which is qualified during area qualification .It means the maximum temperature is achieved in that particular point as compare to other locations .
Same for cold point cooling temperature is that where in single point temperature is minimum as compared to other locations.
