If the question reads “Can someone review their own work or work they have participated in”, then the answer is NO. A reviewer has to be someone who is separate from the process being reviewed.

For example: If I were to perform testing and I was the individual who filled out any forms associated, signing and dating the form. Then I would not be able to review the work that I completed.
If for example, there were multiple forms/pages involved in this testing and I only completed a portion of the pages (signing and dating as the operator), then I would be able to review the pages and work that I was not a part of.

The reviewer needs to be someone who is not involved in whatever is being reviewed. Your QA unit or management would be a good place to turn for this kind of review.
