How to calculate film coating dispersion ?
If solid content is 12%w/w
Weight buildup -3%
Avg wt of core tablet -248mg
Pan capacity - 500gm
Batch size- 1500units
Can anyone Tell me in brief about the amount of solid and solvent to be taken for film coating?
amount of solvent will be 81.84 gm and solid will be 11.16gm.
mean if u prepare 93gm coating suspension containg 81.84gm solvent n 11.16 gm solid it will be 12% dispersion
this calculation is for 3% solid content to prepare 12% dispersion.
