Increase of the lubricant concentration in tablet formulation can create a barrier between tablet granules or particles and the disintegrating liquid of interest, resulting in an increase of disintegration time of the tablet.

Check lowering of hardness.
When too much qty is used it may give opposite results instead of giving its true results.
same like super disintegrent cross carmelose sod give result up to 8% and at higher qty it retard disintegration
