Difference of FPD and FPF

Hi everyone

I just want to learn difference of FPD and FPF that we get a result in NGI analyses of DPI products.

FPD means Fine particle dose and reporting unit in mcg. FPD values available to patient at site of action.( maximum therapeutic effect) while FPF stands Fine particle fraction which is reporting in % of LC.
Formula:
FPD + sum of Stage-2 to Filter for ACI and Stage-1 to MOC for NGI.
FPF = sum of Stage-2 to Filter for ACI and Stage-1 to MOC for NGI / Sum of IP to MOC X 100
.

example:
1.Product X label claim is 100 mcg per actuation.
FPD is getting 25 mcg then FPF is 25%.

2.Product X label claim is 80 mcg per actuation.
FPD is 20 mcg the what is FPF value?

FPF = 20 / 80 X 100
= 25 %
