Is the ISO class 6 of compressed gases (acceptance: 5mg/m3) should use in clean room areas (ISO 8)?
Need clarification and any guideline.
Selection of type / grade of compressed air in the Clean room areas solely depends upon its applications in aseptic processing or for non-sterile processing. Therefore, please refer ISO 8573 standards in conjunction with the pharmacopoeial requirements of various gases including compressed air to determine class of the same for its use. This is based on % purity levels, and contaminant levels such as Particulate matter, Humidity / Liquid water, Oils and vialble count / microbial count in the gases.
