Can we use C18 column in place of C8 column in analysis?

You will have to perform the following tests by using C18 HPLC column instead of C8 column.

  • System suitability
  • Analytical Method validation as per ICH Q2(R1/R2) guidelines.

If the above aspects are satisfactory meeting the acceptance criteria then you can use C18 column for routine samples (batches) analysis.
