Good day, i want to ask what is the best procedure for cleaning a mixing tank and filling machine with Oleaginous ointment product, also what chemical to be used to effectively remove product residues.

Generally oleaginous base is difficult to clean.

Here you need to check the CIP procedure and process parameters (Temp, pH, Time). If 1 time CIP is not enough 2 time CIP can be recommended or include manual+CIP method for cleaning purpose.

As per the nature of product you can try with a neutral cleaning agent if no then use alkaline cleaning agent.
