I was run vitek 2 for geobacillus sterothermophilus for identification but result came G. thermoleovorans , 99% .
There is probability in vivek system that known culture shows different species.
This may caused due to possible errors while sample preparations.
If you are confident on sample preparations then
you can proceed for more accurate method e.g.
16 rDNA sequencing.

As per vendor (biomeriux) recommendation both organisms are having the same gentic codes it’s a slightly difference so procede with vendor justification and your internal authority (QA) approval
