What is shelf life required of the raw material to convert into dosage forms

Reference to the subject mentioned above,what is the shelf life of the raw material is required to convert into dosage forms.

e,g in case of sterile raw material,the manufacturer shelf life remains one years,what we will do,if we convert into dosage forms which is glass vial.

The shelf life of the product should not be more than the raw material.
