The optical inspectors shall undergo eye examination by a qualified medical practitioner :
- At least once a year and /
- Whenever required
The optical inspectors shall possess 6X6 (aided or unaided) eyesight without any other ophthalmological disorder.
Ensure that the optical inspectors are trained and qualified for identifying the different defects such as :
1. Critical
2. Major
3. Minor
Name of visual inspector should be mentioned in authorized list of visual inspectors.
