According to my understanding, for OSD products LLDPE polybags used are not sterilized. It is to be ensured that these bags are manufactured, handled, and stored in hygienic conditions. The polyethylene granules used to manufacture these LLDPE polybags must be of Food grade (Non-toxic). You should get such a certificate of quality from the manufacturer of LLDPE polybags along with every consignment you receive. Your QA person must ensure these aspects. QA should conduct a quality audit at the premises of the manufacturer of LLDPE bags.
