For powder products, Is there any relationship between batch size and cycle time/ RPM of blender.
What should be the cycle time and RPM, if batch size increases?
The recommended working volumetric capacity of blender is 30 to 80% of total volumetric capacity of blender.
Total weight of material that can be charged=working volumetric capacity X bulk density of material.
You should consider loose bulk density.
Take the trial with different rpm for different time and validate the process.
As you increase the batch size with same rpm,blending time should be increased for homogeneous mixing.
