Sterile water is recommended for fungi instead of broth since fungi must be soaked for 30 minutes or longer before transferring to an agar surface ??? is that true ? and why?
I have never read it or do this. Heat shock may be given to the spore forming fungus as aspergillus at 50℃ for15 min to germinate the spores.
