What should be done if a sample of cleaning validation is missed for a particular step in an ongoing process validation batch?

1. Can the sample for the particular step taken in the subsequent batch.
2. Does the other samples of the batch gets invalid for cleaning validation.

Yes you can swab the sample for next subsequent batch, as part of validation activity we need to perform three times. please check with your SOP what they defined.
